FREDERICK, Md. (June 3, 2022) Lt. Yuliya Johnson and Lt. Alexandria Kesterson of Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) assemble a deployable field tent used for biodefense missions and public health threat response during a training exercise with the center’s Biological Defense Research Directorate (BDRD). NMRC’s BDRD laboratory, located at Ft. Detrick, works to advance research and develop therapeutics to protect against biological attacks.
