Opposite is seen the Portadei Bombardieri, an ugly erection of stone cannons,drums and implements of war which was set up in1687. Inside this courtyard is a striking inscription inhonour of Zaccaria Barbaro, who was the Podestaappointed by Venice over Verona during the latterhalf of the fifteenth century.
