Yellow-green Vireo: Medium vireo, olive-green upperparts, pale yellow underparts, bright yellow sides and flanks.


This species breeds from coastal Mexico southward. It is a rare breeder in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, but can often be seen along the Gulf coast of Texas during its spring migration. This bird spends winters in South America and its preferred habitats include streamside thickets and woodlands.
