While I was crossing a bridge late one afternoon I was able to photograph this Whitetail buck and doe as it crossed a stream bed just outside Broadway Virginia. I had stopped for a moment just before they emerged. They caught a glimpse of me standing in the open. I stood still hoping they would not see me as a threat. After a few seconds they continued along their way. It's not open I see a male and female deer together at the same time. I was in the right place at the right time.
