Goldstone radio antenna. Night-time view of one of the dish antennas at the Goldstone station, California. Seen here is the 34-metre dish. Goldstone is part of the Deep Space Network (DSN), used to communicate with spacecraft such as Voyager and Magellan far out in the solar system. Goldstone was also used in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) project. It is operated by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
