Concrete barge ship Cretetree now abandoned on the Isle of Scalpay, Outer Hebrides, Scotland


Cretetree an abandoned concrete barge. at 180 feet long it was built in Aberdeen in 1919 for hauling iron ore. Been on scalpay since 1955. Now used as a storage area by local fishermen. Built from steel and ferrocement (reinforced concrete).
