His previous assignments as a general officer include deputy director of operations for the National Military Command Center on the Joint Staff, commander, Marine Corps Forces South; deputy commander, Marine Corps Forces Command; deputy commanding general, I Marine Expeditionary Force; and commanding general of 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade. NAVSCIATTS is a Security Cooperation schoolhouse operating under Special Operations Command in support of Foreign Security Assistance and Geographic Combatant Commanders' Theater Security Cooperation priorities.
