Saturday night, August 21, 1948 at about , in the vicinity of the railway bridge of Daan on the route between Bandoeng and Poerwakarta, a freight train has been derailed by sabotage of a gang. The two locomotives, a passenger car and a boiler car crashed into a 15 meter deep ravine. Five people were killed and seven wounded, including the driver and two stokers.
