EMPORIA, KANSAS - SEPTEMBER 14, 2022 Approximately 50 Emporia State students are seen protesting in front of Plum Hall the main administration building of ESU prior to the Kansas Board Of Regents (KBOR) vote on the university’s policy of Framework for Workforce Management. The policy gives the administration the leeway to “suspend, dismiss or terminate any university employee” including tenured faculty and potentially shutter certain academic programs.
