Matt and Tammy Manning recently bought their first home, a long time dream for them. Not long after they moved in their well almost exploded as the water was infused with almost pure methane following Hydro fracking nearby. Matt says the water was boiling with methane and it would have just taken a stray spark from his water pump for the whole thing to erupt. His water well now has a no smoking sign fitted to it. Matt (41) lives in the house with his wife and daughter and two grandchildren aged 6 and 4 and is concern about exposure to toxins. His dream home is now almost worthless.
