The Sunkist Floral Co., which opened an attractive store a few weeks ago in a new apartment house at Post and Leavenworth streets, has decided to give up the venture, as business did not develop as rapidly as was expected. The place has been dismantled and the fu- ture activities of the proprietor have not been announced. C. Kooyman reports a good cut of American Beauty, Killarney and Rich- mond roses. Frank H. Forrest, who recently started in the decorating business on his own account, is meeting with good suc- cess. He has made contracts with va- rious downtown business places to look after their decorative work, and besides has a good many wedding and other decorations booked. One for April 25 is for an elaborate church wedding in Berkeley, followed by a reception at the Hotel Oakland. ^ The Art Floral Co. has had a busy week, the principal item being funeral work. F. T. Schlotzhauer, proprietor of the Francis Floral Co., is gratified that a large new office and store building is being erected on the opposite corner of Powell and Sutter streets, as he figures it will bring considerable extra business to that district. He reports business holding up well for the Lenten season. The force at B. M. Joseph's is busy getting novelties ready for the Easter rush. As a novelty for St. Patrick's day, a member of Albert O. Stein's force made up some bouquets of new potat
