Olympic gold medal won by Czech gymnast Bedřich Šupčík for rope climbing at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris on display in the National Museum (Národní muzeum) in Prague, Czech Republic. This medal designed by French medal engraver André Rivaud was the first Olympic gold medal won by Czechoslovak competitor at the Olympic Games. The medal is on view at the new permanent exhibition of the National Museum devoted to the History of the 20th century.
