This is one of the most graceful among the smaller Palms, with wide-spreading arching pinnate leaves, broadly lance-shaped in outline, with long, narrow pinnae. Good strong young plants, in 4 inch pots, 50 cts. each; strong specimens in 6-inch pots, 2 feet high, § each; 7-inch pots, $2 50 each. Phcenix Canariensis. PTYCHOSPERMA AEEXANDREA. One of the mo^t rapid-growing varieties, and of exceedingly easy culture. Foliage light green on the upper side, with a silvery reflex ; very graceful. The foliage is of a very rich, dark green color; the habit of the plant is to sucker from the base, so that it forms a handsomely busliy specimen.
