, Madrid, Madrid, Spain - Monument fuer Alfons XII. und kuenstlicher See im Retiro-Park. Das Denkmal besteht aus einem halbrunden Saeulengang mit 76 doischen Saeulen. In der Mitte steht ein 30m hohes Reiterstandbild Alfonsos XII - der spanische Koenig bestieg nach Jahren des Exils 1874 den Thron. Der Bildhauer Jose Grasas Riera schuf dieses Monument. GT
