The ^luseiuii collections ofilluminated manuscripts and otautograph letters and documentshave been augmented by a be-([uest from the late ^Nliss jNIaryl^enson of Brooklyn, whose in-terest in the Museuiii had ex-tended over many years. The gift shows a many-sidedinterest in matters pertaining tothe church, ranging as it doesfrom the beautiful churchlybooks of the past centuries tothe autograph letters of officersof the church of our own day, while her interest in literatureis indicated by manuscript letters of many Knglish andAmerican authors. The illuminated manuscripts consist of eight Aolumes ofHorae Beatae ]Mariae Virginis, or Books of Hours, oneMissal and a double page from one of the latter, and em-phasize the growth of the Museums collection of suchmaterial.
