Farm workers houses at Tjoloeholm, Sweden. The peasants village at Tjoloeholm(Swedish: Tjolöholm ) castle consist of 7 buildings, 6 for farm workers, the last functioned as a hospital, and build in the Swedish natial romantic style of by the end of the century. The idea behind the peansent village came from England, Blaise-Castle, near Bristol. Each building was a double-house with 2 X 52 M2 for each family, vegetable garden, hen house etc. Next to the village is the castle church. Tjolöholm is unique in that the estate was built to provide it's own little society. Inside the castle’s gates an ideal community was built. The compound also included a village hall, a library, school and meeting place. The workers village is an example of the last century’s ‘National Romantic’ style.
