California National Guardsmen from Joint Task Force Rattlesnake, Fresno Unit, Joint Task Force 115, enter the finish line of a four-mile hike May 12, 2021 at the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Millerton Training Site in Friant, California. Cal Guard’s full-time firefighters were getting certified as a CAL FIRE Type II initial attack crew and underwent a series of challenges, in preparation for the upcoming wildfire season.
