Gen. Won In-choul, Republic of Korea chairman of the joints chiefs of staff, was honored during his visit to Army Pacific, April 30, 2021, at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Following the ceremony Won met with Gen. Paul J. LaCamera, Army Pacific commanding general and his senior staff. The meeting created an opportunity for increased dialogue between senior military leaders. The strength of the of Korea alliance commitment remains ironclad. The United States and the ROK share a long history of cooperation based on mutual trust and shared values.
