To the west ofMeriden post-office Spring Branch enters Bear Creek. Its flow isutilized by the Dater ditch, which irrigates only a few acres. Belowthis point Bear Creek ditch diverts the water on the lands in thevicinity of Meriden post-office. The flow of the stream farther on isutilized by the Vanwedel and Goshen ditches.
