St Andrew Holborn, London: nave interior to east


St Andrew's Holborn, although not destroyed in the Fire is one of the fifty one churches rebuilt 1684-86 under the direction of Sir Christopher Wren. Interior, with galleries and Corinthian columns supporting the barrel-vaulted roof. Double height Venetian window at easte end, Gutted in the Blitz, and rebuilt by Seeley and Paget, reopened 1961.
