Anjems Choudary, a well known Islamist radical gathered a small band of his followers together for a march along Brick Lane in London's vibrant east end, to protest against the sale and consumption of alcohol. His march was opposed by a few Biritish right wing anti-Islamists, but a heavy police presence kept the two sides apart.
