Below the weapon is a symmetrical cartouche, which causes a thistle and a rose to rise on both sides of the weapon. Under the cartouche a blue banderole on which: DIEU ET MON DROIT. Originally a center-oriented flame in the corners, of which only those in the upper neck and in the lower corner on the stick side remain.
