Bussink's honey cake manufactory in Deventer, Netherlands. Picture from the visit of Louis Napoleon in 1809. The picture hangs in the Deventer Koekwinkel and shows a historical scene from 1809. From 1806 to 1810 Lodewijk Napoleon was king of the Kingdom of Holland created by his brother Emperor Napoleon. The king was interested in the famous cake and was shown how it was made. Enthusiastically, he placed a large order and wanted to board his carriage without baker's wife then tugged him by the sleeve and successfully claimed the amount of money
