Across the road from the Botahtaung Pagoda in Rangoon, Burma, is a small temple that contains the figure of Ahma Mya Nan Nwe, a devotee of the pagoda. Here Burmese women make offerings and ask for blessings. Whilst this is only a few yards from the Pagoda, a major tourist destination, the temple appears to attract almost no tourists
