Sir Winston Churchill, (30 November 1874 – 24 January 1965) as an officer in the South African Light Horse. 1899. He was among the first British troops into Ladysmith and Pretoria, during the Boer war. British Prime Minister from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955.
