Yellow-rattle (Rhinanthus minor), a partial grass parasite, flowering with soft-rushes (Juncus effusus) in marshy grassland (rush pasture) at Coed Elernion, a Woodland Trust reserve near Trefor at the north east end of the Lleyn Peninsula. Within the 53 acres of semi natural broadleaf woodland are 3 long established fields of semi improved neutral grassland and marshy grassland (rush pasture) re seeded in 1970. This is the largest of the three areas and is cut annually for hay since mid 1990s. Tre'r Ceiri hillfort is visible to the rear.
