Former Sgt. Robert K. Debolt III, second from right, 1st Infantry Division, is presented the Distinguished Service Cross plaque by Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Hendrex, command sergeant major of III Corps and Fort Hood, Lt. Gen. Paul E. Funk, commanding general of III Corps and Fort Hood, Maj. Gen. John Kolasheski, commanding general of 1st Inf. Div. and Fort Riley, and Master Sgt. Anthony Roszko, Debolt's former squad leader, March 28, 2019, at Fort Riley, Kansas. Debolt was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his valorous actions in Kandahar, Afghanistan, Sept. 4, 2008.
