King Henri IV enters Paris on 22 March 1594. The King handing his white sash to Charles de Cossé, Count of Brissac, Governor of Paris, and making him Marshal of France. At his side is Jean Luillier, the Provost of the Merchants of Paris, carrying a tray on which are the keys to the city.
