Yellow Skunk Cabbage, (Lysichiton Americanus,) otherwise known as American Skunk Cabbage, growing in a marshy area near Lustleigh in South Devon, UK. It derives it's name from the pungent odor emitted as it flowers, attracting insect pollenators and flies. It was introduced into Britain in 1901 and thrives in wet, boggy areas, like this part of Dartmoor.
