As custom, Act Up-Paris held its annual demonstration against AIDS. Joining them were many other LGBT groups who felt also concerned by the problem of AIDS in their community. "In a context of increased political choices austerity supposed to counter the "economic crisis" precariousness, the first hit are the most vulnerable. However, the tenuous link between insecurity and HIV was found: lack of resources, social insecurity impede medical progress, expose to contamination and parallel HIV infection, its impact on overall health and stigma and isolation that are induced insecurity factors."
