Phlox spp., Vicia americana, Iva axillaris, Aster spp., Lesquerella Erysium asperum, Comandra pallida, Opuntia polycantha. Bahia oppositifolia, Helianthus spp., Atriplex canescens. Allium reticulatum, and Plantago purshii. In the pictures of this area the most noticeable changes between the old and the new is the increase in the amount of Prickly Pear in the new pictures (from Phillips 1963, p. 119).
