Sat 24th April 2021. Edinburgh, Scotland. Salisbury Crags lit up with a projection as part of the 2021 Pedal on Parliament event. Covid-19 restrictions meant that the usual Pedal on Parliament mass bike ride couldn’t happen in 2021 so supporters were asked to carry out individual actions using light and projections to shine a light on cycling and climate change.

Pedal on Parliament is a grassroots volunteer-led campaign formed in 2012 to push for better, safer and more inclusive cycling conditions for everyone of all ages and abilities in Scotland. They run an annual nationwide weekend of action aimed at policy makers, asking for better investment, design and policy for sustainable transport
