Students expecting to takeany A course can enter at the beginning of any quarter withno disadvantage. COURSES IN OUTLINE A All A courses lead to life diploma. A courses (exceptA-4) are two-year courses. The minimum requirement for ad-mission to all A courses is graduation from an approved highschool. See page 19. Course A-1. General course. Tn cmrse A-1 work is required in principles of teaching orhistory of education, sociology, English, school law of Idaho. 21 and physical education, together with methods, observation,teaching and criticism in arithmetic, language, literature, history,geography, and primary work. The students in this course are divided into groups for meth-ods work and teaching, each group having a different sub-ject in any given quarter, consequently a more definite schedulecannot be published. Each student will, however, be expectedto make a total of at least twenty credits for graduation. Course A-2. Primary Specialists course. The work in this course is practically the same as that re-quired for course A-1, the only difference being that emphasis islaid upon the primary phase of the subject matter and teaching,and students in their election of work are expected to take pri-mary work whenever possible. Course A-3. Domestic Arts Specialists course.
