Standing Tall on a Granite Rock at Donner Summit

I have loved seeing this Tree, standing alone on this granite rock for years as I drove over Donner Summit, so I pulled over one overcast day and took the shot. When I processed the picture, I added some blue to the mostly grey background, this otherwise hidden rainbow appeared. It gave that much more strength to the trees struggles. I love it!
