II. He was born August 30,1811, and was the eldest son of Wheeler andAbigail (Perkins) Eaton. His fatiier, also anative of Weare, was a shoemaker and tannerby trade. He lived for a while in Seabrook,from which place he removed to Franklin,, where he settled in the northern part ofthe town and engaged in general farming.
