A helmet for officers,of the Colberg Grenadier Regiment Graf Gneisenau(2nd Pommeranian)No. 9 Leather skull with an almost perfectly preserved lacquer surface,uncleaned. Gilded tombac mountings. New style grenadier eagle. Scroll with the black lacquered inscription "Colberg 1807",mounted separately. Light,ribbed silk lining. One metal chinscale repaired. In a carrying case,straps torn off. Extremely rare helmet,as they were worn with this emblem for only a few years after 16 June 1913.
