A greatly enlarged portrat of Frank Charles Bostock (1866-1912)bfron a 1900 poster for Bostock & Wombwell's 'World Renowned' British travelling Menagerie and exhibition. (there were actually three touring menageries). The business eventually travelled to America. Frank Charles Bostock (1866-1912), was known as “The Animal King”. He teamed up with George Wombwell (1777-1850) and became business manager & contracting and advertising agent of the business.
