The cerebellum isrelatively larger than in the normal brain, non-development, or incomplete develop-ment, of certain portions of the brain-Cases are on record where there wasabsence or atrophy of the cerebellum;deficiency of the pineal gland; defects ofthe fornix; a rudimentary condition of Idiocy, Pathology of [ 652 ] Idiocy, Pathology of the olivary bodies, optic thalamus, andcorpus striatum ; atrophy of the opticcommissure; and atrophy or even entireabsence of the corpus callosum.
