Knotted Bars.—See Macrame. Knotted Laces.—These are Italian Laces, and knownin Italy as Punto A Groppo. The word Groppo signifiesa tie or knot, and the laces are made of knotted modern Macrame is worked like the knotted Macrame. Knotting.—This work is one of the varieties of theRagusa and Reticella Guipures invented after those lacesbecame obsolete.
