An English double-barrel flintlock pistol with ivory grip,Philip Bond,London,circa 1810. Unscrewable,smooth barrels in 15 mm calibre with radial muzzle grooves. On each underside of barrel roots double London acceptance stamps. Iron bolt housing with cock safety,folding trigger and change-over cylinder for the second barrel. Sides of bolt housing bear engraved trophies and signature "P. BOND - CORN HILL LONDON". Smooth,massive ivory butt. Length 29 cm.
