ARABIAN SEA (April 27, 2021) – Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Joseph Coleman, assigned to guided-missile destroyer USS Laboon (DDG 58), signals to a MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, attached to the “Dusty Dogs” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7, during flight operations in the Arabian Sea, April 27. Laboon is supporting the IKE Carrier Strike Group while deployed to the 5th Fleet area and conducting naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
