Southport Red Qlobe. Beautiful glolie-shaped ; a good keeper and of superior quality. This vaiiely is very popu- lar on the market as a red sort. Pkt., 5 cts.; oz., 15 cts.; J- 40 cts.; lb., Extra Early Red. Earlier than the Weihersfield, and somewhat smaller, close-grained and a good keeper. It is somewhat the shape ol the Cracker Onion, but hardier. Pkt., 5 cts.; oz., 10 cts.; J 35 cts.; 11. , SI 10. Large Red Wethersfield. (See cut.) This is the leading variety in the Easti rn States ; grows to full size the first season from seed ; large, flat, but thick through; deep red ; a splendid keeper. It is an enormous yielder, and always sells at high prices. It is best to dry these Onions in a shady place, and one where they will get plenty of air.
