The heating apparatus that supplies the heated air forheating the Paint shop, Coach and Mill room, is built inthe corner of this room. Air isdrawn in from the paint shop and through the coils, by means ofa Sturtevant blower whose fan casing measures five feet in thedirection of the fan shaft and twenty feet diameter in theplaneof rotation. This fan is operated, by a forty five horse powerBullock motor connected by a belt. The appointment of the Paint Shop consists of dryingclosets, appliances for washing and polishing the woodworkof the car bodies, sinks, several collapsible tables beingnothing more than boards laid across horses. The train and car accommodations are the same asthose of the Coach Room. (See plan.).
