Pterosaur fossil. Fossilised remains of a Pterodactylus longirostris pterosaur. Pterodactylus were flying reptiles that lived during the Late Jurassic period (150-148 million years ago) and were the first pterosaur genus to be identified. This specimen has a wingspan of 50 centimetres.
