Has the appearance of a low-growing snowball with its large clusters of white flow- ers. Particularly desirable on account of com- ing into bloom before the H. Paniculata. Its blooming period is from early June until mid- dle of August. A very desirable shrub. Hydrangea paniculata grandiflora. One of the most popular shrubs in cultivation, bloom- ing at a time when few shrubs are in bloom. Flowers borne in huge panicles from 8 to 12 inches long; delicate pink changing to brown.
