A silver-mounted Ottoman khanjar, 2nd half of the 17th century, Double-edged, lightly curved blade made of wootz Damascus with reinforced, ridged point. Ebony grip scales with nielloed grip strap and seven silver rosettes inlaid on the obverse and three on the reverse, respectively. Silver scabbard engraved with flowers and ornaments, partially nielloed and partly gilt, with three-dimensional ball finial. The reverse with engraved foliage decoration, carrying loop and tughra mark of Mehmet IV (1648 - 1687). The obverse locket with four minor flaw, Additional-Rights-Clearance-Info-Not-Available
