The Purdue University Branch of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers wasorganized April 27, 1903. It is the result of a reorganization of the old Purdue Electrical So-ciety which was established February 5, 1897, for the study and discussion of applied electri-city. The object of the Branch is to give its members an increased knowledge of the theory andpractice of Electrical Engineering. Meetings arc held in the Electrical Building every Tuesdayevening, alternate meetings being devoted to the subject of Telephone Engineering. One meetingeach month is devoted to the discussion of some paper which has been read before the New Yorkmeeting of the Institute.
