It is then put down into the mangers by chutes. The addition hastwo rows of stalls facing afeed floor. Where a cellarcan be provided under theaddition the manure caneasily be disposed it must bewheeled out each day to amanure shed. NEW STYLE CALF PENS The ordinary calf pens in barns are dark, gloomy places,wholly unsuitable for the growth of calves. Let in thelight by taking down a partof the high board sides andreplace it with one-inchheavy wire poultry netting,as shown in Figure the small mesh calveswill not get their feetthrough it. The pens willthus be made much morelight, cheerful and wholesome.
