The trace of the flood line is shownon the map. In some places there is an apparent crossing of the contours. Theflood line was traced out with a fair degree of accuracy. Any discrepancies shownby the contours should be assigned to improper location of the contours. At the end of September the amount of water unaccounted for after allowingfor evaporation as set forth in table above was 192,460 acre-feet. There were stillsome pools scattered over the flooded area to the south of the lake. The soil in thisportion of the basin is somewhat sandy
