Thimse:^, Blooming Prairie, Minn., Oct. 24th 1890, writes;âBurpee's All-Head Early Cabbage is all that you recommend it to be and more ; the heads were very large and solid. Blond Blockhead Lettuce beat any- thing I ever saw in the way of a Lettuce; I think it might be called a perpetual Lettuce, as mine has been nice and crisp all summer and the dry weather had no effect upon it. I have had Lettuce from this variety up to date and will have until winter sets in, or until covered with snow. The only fault I can find with it is that it will not go to seed, as "it has not done so yet. I do not think you can say too much in the praise of this variety. E. A.
